Advanced Comparison: A (比 B) 更...
Grammar Analysis:
1. 「A (+比 + B) + 更 + adj.」在比較的時候用。前面已經說了一個東西,說話的人覺得「A」超過他想的程度。通常在句子前面或後面會說明為什麼這麼覺得。
"A (+ bǐ + B) + gèng + adj." zài bǐjiào de shíhòu yòng. Qiánmiàn yǐjīng shuōle yí gè dōngxī, shuōhuà de rén juédé "A" chāoguò tā xiǎng de chéngdù. Tōngcháng zài jùzi qiánmiàn huò hòumiàn huì shuōmíng wèishénme zhème juédé.
"A (+ bǐ + B) + gèng + adj." is used when making comparisons. After something has already been mentioned, the speaker feels that "A" exceeds that level. Usually the reason for this feeling is explained before or after the sentence.

在書店 (At a bookstore)
A你看!我覺得這本書好有趣!
A: Nǐ kàn! Wǒ juédé zhè běn shū hǎo yǒuqù!
A: Look! I think this book is so interesting!
B那本書我看過,真的滿有趣的,但是我覺得這本書更有趣,書裡說了很多台灣的故事。
B: Nà běn shū wǒ kànguò, zhēnde mǎn yǒuqù de, dànshì wǒ juédé zhè běn shū gèng yǒuqù, shū lǐ shuōle hěnduō Táiwān de gùshì.
B: I have read that book. It is indeed quite interesting. I think this book is even more interesting. It tells many stories about Taiwan.
A聽起來很有意思,可以給我看看嗎?
A: Tīng qǐlái hěn yǒuyìsi, kěyǐ gěi wǒ kànkan ma?
A: That sounds very interesting. Can I have a look?
在聊天 (Chatting)
A你每天都練習中文超過半個小時,感覺真的很喜歡中文!
A: Nǐ měitiān dōu liànxí Zhōngwén chāoguò bàn gè xiǎoshí, gǎnjué zhēnde hěn xǐhuān Zhōngwén!
A: You practice Chinese for over half an hour every day. It seems you really like Chinese!
B謝謝!可是 Jenny 感覺比我更喜歡中文,她每天都複習中文三個小時。
B: Xièxie! Kěshì Jenny gǎnjué bǐ wǒ gèng xǐhuān Zhōngwén, tā měitiān dōu fùxí Zhōngwén sān gè xiǎoshí.
B: Thanks! Jenny seems to like Chinese even more than I do. She reviews Chinese for three hours every day.
A真的嗎?聽起來她真的很喜歡中文。
A: Zhēnde ma? Tīng qǐlái tā zhēnde hěn xǐhuān Zhōngwén.
A: Really? It sounds like she truly loves Chinese.

A: Wǒmen děng yíxià yào zuò shénme?
A: What are we doing in a bit?
B我們去運動吧!我想去游泳。
B: Wǒmen qù yùndòng ba! Wǒ xiǎng qù yóuyǒng.
B: Let's go exercise! I want to go swimming.
A可以去公園跑步嗎?
A: Kěyǐ qù gōngyuán pǎobù ma?
A: Can we go running in the park?
B為什麼?
B: Wèishénme?
B: Why?
A因為我覺得游泳很累。
A: Yīnwèi wǒ juédé yóuyǒng hěn lèi.
A: I think swimming is very tiring.
B游泳很累嗎?!跑步比游泳更累吧?
B: Yóuyǒng hěn lèi ma?! Pǎobù bǐ yóuyǒng gèng lèi ba?
B: Swimming is tiring?! Running is even more tiring than swimming, isn't it?
A跑步不用換衣服,我覺得沒有游泳那麼麻煩。
A: Pǎobù búyòng huàn yīfú, wǒ juédé méiyǒu yóuyǒng nàme máfan.
A: You do not need to change clothes for running. I think it is not as troublesome as swimming.

B我昨天沒有出門,在家裡休息了一天。
B: Wǒ zuótiān méiyǒu chūmén, zài jiālǐ xiūxíle yì tiān.
B: I did not go out yesterday. I rested at home all day.

A: Rúguǒ nǐ chūmén, yídìng huì liú gèng duō hàn.
A: If you went out, you would definitely sweat even more.
